GWP offers basketball training programs for female-identifying individuals. We welcome those who are new to the game, and those looking to reignite their passion.

Our inclusive, community-focused programs are organized by age and run during the school term.

Through on-court sessions, off-court seminars and a supportive and social environment, we aim to instil a love of the game and equip you with the skills to continue your basketball journey, should you choose.

Upon completing the program, GWP can support your pathway into various aspects of the sport, offering tailored packages to help you get started as a player, referee or coach.

Our programs involve on-court training and off-court seminars.

The on-court training—designed by Zoe Zwerling of More Than Basketball—will hone your fitness and sharpen your skills through tutorials, drills and game simulation.

The off-court seminars will provide you with a deeper knowledge of the game and get you up to speed on other crucial roles within the sport, like
refereeing, coaching and officiating.

Our programs are offered free of charge thanks to funding from the Australian Government’s Play Our Way program.
